Terms of Service

01 Definitions

In these Terms of Service, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

• “Plugin” means the RideCab WP WordPress plugin, including all associated files, documentation, and updates.
• “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Canopus Web Agency, the developer and seller of RideCab WP, reachable at ridecab@canopuswebagency.com.
• “You”, “Licensee” means the individual or legal entity that purchases and uses the Plugin.
• “License Key” means the unique key issued to you upon purchase, used to activate the Plugin.
• “Website” means a single WordPress installation identified at the time of activation.
• “Merchant of Record” means Paddle.com Market Ltd., which processes payments and acts as the seller of record for your transaction.

02 The License

Upon completing a valid purchase and payment of USD 79, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to install and use the Plugin on one (1) WordPress website that you own or manage.

This license is personal to you. It cannot be sold, transferred, sublicensed, or assigned to any third party without our prior written consent.

The license remains valid indefinitely for the version of the Plugin you purchased. Access to future updates may require an active support subscription or a new purchase, as described in Section 6.

03 Permitted & Prohibited Use

If you wish to use the Plugin on multiple websites or include it in a commercial product, please contact us at ridecab@canopuswebagency.com to discuss a multi-site or agency license.

04 Purchase & Payment

The Plugin is sold at a one-time price of USD 79 per single-site license. All prices are shown in US dollars and are exclusive of any applicable local taxes.

Payments are processed by our authorized Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd. (“Paddle”). Paddle handles the transaction, issues your receipt, and is responsible for charging any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction. By purchasing, you agree to Paddle’s terms of service in addition to these Terms.

We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes do not affect licenses already purchased.

05 Delivery & Activation

Upon successful payment, you will receive an email from Paddle containing:

• A download link for the Plugin (.zip file).
• Your unique License Key for activation.
• A link to the documentation.

Delivery is immediate and automatic. If you do not receive your download within 30 minutes of purchase, please check your spam folder and then contact us at ridecab@canopuswebagency.com.

The License Key must be entered in your WordPress dashboard to activate the Plugin and verify your license. You are responsible for keeping your License Key secure. Do not share it publicly.

06 Updates & Support

Updates

Your purchase includes access to all plugin updates released within 12 months from the date of purchase. After this period, the Plugin continues to work, but you will no longer receive automatic updates or new features unless you renew your license.

We strongly recommend keeping the Plugin up to date to benefit from security patches, bug fixes, and compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress.

Standard Support

Email support is included with your purchase for 12 months from the date of purchase. Support is provided in English and covers:

• Installation and configuration questions.
• Bugs and technical issues with the Plugin’s core features.
• Guidance on using the Plugin as documented.

Support does not cover customization requests, third-party plugin conflicts, or issues caused by modifications you have made to the Plugin’s code. We aim to respond to all support requests within 2 business days.

Extended Support (Optional Add-on)

For customers who need faster, prioritized assistance, we offer an Extended Support plan as an optional add-on to any RideCab WP license.

The Extended Support add-on is non-refundable once the support period has commenced, except where required by applicable law.

07 Intellectual Property

RideCab WP and all its components — including but not limited to source code, design, graphics, documentation, and associated materials — are the exclusive intellectual property of Canopus Web Agency and are protected by copyright law and international treaties.

Your purchase grants you a license to use the Plugin as described in these Terms. It does not transfer ownership or any intellectual property rights to you.

The RideCab WP name, logo, and associated branding are trademarks of Canopus Web Agency. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

You may modify the Plugin’s code for your own website use, provided such modifications are not redistributed. Modified versions remain subject to these Terms.

08 Disclaimer of Warranties

The Plugin is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Plugin will meet all of your specific requirements.
• The Plugin will be error-free or operate without interruption.
• The Plugin will be compatible with every third-party theme, plugin, or hosting environment.
• All defects will be corrected.

You are responsible for ensuring that the Plugin is compatible with your WordPress environment before purchase. We encourage you to review the documentation and system requirements available on ridecabwp.com.

09 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Canopus Web Agency shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the Plugin, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In all cases, our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Plugin, i.e. USD 79.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for consequential damages. In such cases, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by local law.

10 Refunds

Our refund policy is governed by our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms and is incorporated by reference. In summary, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on new purchases.

Refunds are processed by Paddle on our behalf. Upon approval of a refund, your License Key will be deactivated and you must cease all use of the Plugin.

11 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your license immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any provision of these Terms.

Upon termination:

• Your License Key will be deactivated.
• You must uninstall and delete all copies of the Plugin from your systems.
• No refund will be issued in the case of termination due to a breach of these Terms.

You may also terminate your license at any time by ceasing to use the Plugin and deleting all copies, subject to our Refund Policy if the termination occurs within the refund window.

12 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to digital software products in the jurisdiction in which Canopus Web Agency is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

Notwithstanding the above, nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights you may have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.

13 Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will notify active licensees by email at the address associated with your purchase.

Your continued use of the Plugin after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may request a refund if you are within the refund window described in our Refund Policy.
